Cancelling a subscription

Your subscription automatically renews until you cancel it. You may cancel at any time, and this will take effect at the end of the current subscription period, promotional offer, or free trial.

Please note, we do not offer refunds for any unused portion of a subscription, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

If you are billed directly by STV Player+ and would like to cancel your subscription: 

  1. Login to your account at stv.tv 
  2. In Manage account select Manage subscription
  3. Under Plan options select the STV Player free with ads option by clicking to Cancel Subscription
  4. Select Continue cancelling and then Confirm and cancel

If you are billed by Apple and would like to cancel your subscription: 

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV 
  2. Select your name and then choose Subscriptions (if prompted, enter your Apple ID) 
  3. Select your STV Player+ subscription to cancel 

If you are billed by Roku and would like to cancel your subscription: 

  1. Visit my.roku.com/subscriptions 
  2. Select to cancel your STV Player+ subscription 

If you are billed by Google and would like to cancel your subscription: 

Via Google Play App: 

  1. On your Android device, got to subscriptions 
  2. Select STV Player+ subscription 
  3. Tap cancel subscription 
  4. Follow the instructions 

Via Google website: 

  1. Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions 
  2. Click Manage on STV Player+ subscription 
  3. Click Cancel subscription 
  4. Within the confirmation pop-up, select a reason  
  5. Click Continue

If you are billed by Amazon and would like to cancel your subscription: 

Via your Fire Tablet: 

  1. Tab Apps 
  2. Tab Store 
  3. Open the menu, and then tap Manage Subscriptions. 
  4. Select to cancel your STV Player+ subscription 

Via Amazon website: 

  1. Visit amazon.co.uk/your-account 
  2. Select Your Apps under Digital content and devices 
  3. Select Your Subscriptions under Manage 
  4. Select to cancel your STV Player+ subscription 


If you would like to change your payment platform, first cancel your subscription following the steps above and then re-subscribe on your preferred platform once your subscription has expired.
