How do I close my STV Player account?

Thinking about saying goodbye? We're sorry to hear that! If our service hasn't quite hit the mark for you, please do get in touch with us at enquiries@stv.tv – we'd love the chance to help.

Please note that once you request to close your account, it can take up to two weeks for this to be fully processed. During this time, we won’t be able to restore access to the account. If you’d still like to use STV Player, you can either create a new account using a different email address or wait until the closure process has been completed.

Just a heads-up: closing your main STV Player account won't automatically cancel any STV Player+ or STV Player+ with Premier Sports subscriptions you've set up through another provider like Apple, Google or Roku. You'll need to cancel those directly through their platform first. You can find instructions on how to do this here.

If you're still set on closing your account, here's how:

  • Head to our website, stv.tv, and click on your profile icon in the top right-hand corner.
  • Select ‘Personal details’.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘I want to close my account’.
  • You’ll then see a message asking you to confirm.
