The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation was founded by Baroness Doreen Lawrence in Stephen's name after his murder in 1993 in a racist attack that was mishandled by the police.
The Foundation's modern aim is to inspire a more equal, inclusive society. It works tirelessly with stakeholders in government, education and business to develop a framework to foster opportunities for marginalised young people in the UK.
