The STV Player is an online service which lets you to watch your favourite STV programmes:

  • live - (if you live in our broadcast area)  - STV and STV+1  
  • on demand - (for all) - catch-up with missed shows, binge box sets or find something from our archives.
    With exclusive content not available on the main TV channel, including dramas and shows from all around the world.

Our catch up service is typically available for 30 days after the television broadcast, for the programmes we have the rights to show online. 

Some programmes can only be made available for a shorter period, usually 7 days or, in the case of News, 24 hours.

On the majority of platforms you can also watch any of our channels live, as they go out on the TV.
