STV Player carries some programmes that were broadcast on STV after the 9pm watershed.   As these programmes are available on-demand at any time we give you the ability to set parental controls, on whichever device you are using. The first time you reach a programme with a guidance warning you will be offered the ability to set parental controls. Alternatively, there is a [Parental Control icon at the bottom of the STV Player](https://player.stv.tv/settings?_gl=1*1c27pm0*_gcl_au*NTk0MjYzMzA4LjE3MzQzMzgzMjQuOTc1MzAzMDkwLjE3MzY0MTAwMzkuMTczNjQxMDA0Ng..*_ga*MTM2Nzg5OTU4LjE3MzEzMTUwMjA.*_ga_2443VC4BPS*MTczNjQxNjU0OS45OS4xLjE3MzY0MTc2NDAuNTguMC4xNzc2OTk3MzU5*_ga_KG37CD1MJ5*MTczNjQxNjU0OS45OS4xLjE3MzY0MTc2NDAuNTguMC4xODE0NDc3MTI1) which allows you set passwords at any time.
