[STV Player+ and STV Player+ with Premier Sports](https://support.stv.tv/support/subscription-billing?hsLang=en-gb#stv-player-and-stv-player-with-premier-sports) 8 July 2025 # How do I subscribe? #### Are you ready to subscribe to STV Player+ or STV Player+ with Premier Sports?  To sign up you’ll need to make sure you are using a [**subscription supported device**](https://support.stv.tv/support/subscription-supported-devices?hsLang=en-gb), have a valid method of payment, reside in the UK and be over 18 years of age.  #### You can subscribe through a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, or by downloading the STV Player app and signing up on your preferred device.    To sign up for a subscription through STV Player, select the device you’re using and we’ll guide you through the steps:  - **[Web browser](https://support.stv.tv/support/how-do-i-subscribe#Web)** - [Mobile device](https://support.stv.tv/support/how-do-i-subscribe#Mobile) - [Smart TV or set top box](https://support.stv.tv/support/how-do-i-subscribe#CTV)   **Web browser**  You can sign up at [stv.tv](https://stv.tv/) from a web browser on your desktop or mobile device and your account will be managed directly with STV Player.   1. Go to [**stv.tv**](http://stv.tv)  2. Click on **Subscribe** towards the top right corner of the screen  3. **Review** the available subscription options, then click **Subscribe Now**.  4. If you’re new to STV Player, **create an account** by entering your email address, setting a password, and providing your full name, date of birth, and postcode. If you already have an account, simply **log in** with your email address and password.  5. Choose your desired subscription option—**STV Player+** or **STV Player with Premier Sports**—then click **Join STV**.  6. **Select** your preferred subscription plan.  7. Choose your payment method, enter your payment details, and click **Agree & Subscribe** to complete your subscription.    Alternatively, you can subscribe through the STV Player app via one of the third parties below:  - Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)  - Roku (Roku TV or device)  - Amazon (Fire tablet, Fire TV)  - Google (Google TV, Android mobile)    **Mobile device**  You can subscribe via our STV Player app by following the instructions below:  1. Download the STV Player app from your device’s app store  2. Open the STV Player app  3. Enter your email address and a password or create an account if you don’t have one yet  4. Go to the settings page and select ‘**Manage subscription**’   5. Choose your preferred subscription plan and review **Terms of use ** 6. Make an in-app purchase    **Smart TV or set top box**  Depending on your device, you will sign up in one of the following ways:  1. Go to the app store on your device  2. Download the STV Player app  3. Open the STV Player app and sign up  4. Enter your email address and a password  5. Proceed to subscribe and select your preferred subscription plan  6. Make an in-app purchase  7. Start watching content and enjoy new subscription benefits  If your device directs you to navigate to a URL, follow the steps below:  1. Go to the app store on your device  2. Download the STV Player if it was not pre-downloaded  3. Open the STV Player app  4. Follow the instructions onscreen to sign up  5. Enter the URL into your browser or use your phone camera to scan the QR code 6. Enter your email address and create a password  7. Enter the **x-digit code** you see on your TV screen  8. Select your preferred subscription plan and enter your payment information  9. Review the Terms of use and select **Agree & Subscribe**  10.
