How do I activate STV Player on my TV?

How do I link my Smart TV or TV device to STV Player?

The STV Player app is pre-installed on most platforms, find it on your main app rail or in your device's app store.
Open the STV Player app
Review the Privacy Information and press accept (or manage) to proceed further
Once you've reviewed and set your privacy settings choose the option to Continue to STV Player

There are now two options displayed:

Join/Sign in to watch (this allows you to link your app to your STV Player account)
OR
Browse first (this let’s you have a browse of our shows before signing in)

If you click on the ‘Join/Sign in to watch’ button, this will allow you to link your Smart TV or TV device to STV Player.

You will be presented with a screen with a QR code and a website link. Scan the QR code with the camera on your phone, and it will open a browser window on your phone. Alternatively, you can just key in the website link on your browser on your phone/tablet/laptop.

If you aren't already signed in on your mobile/tablet/laptop, then you first need to enter your email and password, then the 6 digits code is automatically filled in for you and the app refreshes on your TV device. If you don't have an account or enter the wrong credentials, you will be prompted to create an account on the browser and once complete , you can enter the 6 digits code which will sync the app on your TV device.

If you are already signed in, when you scan the QR code with your phone camera, the 6 digits code is automatically entered on the browser on your phone, and you get signed in on your TV device.

You can ‘sign in with your remote’ if you have an account set up already and wish to do this with your remote control.

Hit the Continue button and wait for the message on your TV to change
