How can I find Audio Described, Subtitles or Visually Signed versions of programmes?

Many of our programmes have an Audio Described or Visually Signed version, you can find a full list of these in the Browse/Categories section of the STV Player apps under the headings of Audio Described and Visually Signed. Shows listed in these categories are the ones we have available and selecting any from the list will automatically play the relevant version for you.

Subtitles

If the programme also has subtitles available, then a S symbol or a Speech Bubble symbol will be shown in the programme description. When available you can activate or deactivate Subtitles by pressing the S or Speech Bubble symbols on the playback bar once the programme starts.
