Am I eligible for a free STV Player+ trial?

Your subscription to STV Player+ may begin with a free trial where we choose to make them available. A free trial may not always be available, and when it is, you will only be eligible for the free trial if you have not previously used a free trial for STV Player+. Free trials are not available on Premier Sports plans. 

Where a free trial is available, eligible users can sign up to a STV Player+ subscription at stv.tv and through our mobile and TV apps. The free trial will be applied during the sign up process.  For a full list of devices and details on how you can sign up, click here. 

Payment details are required to sign up for a subscription, including the free trial, and the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the free trial period unless cancelled. Important notes for subscribers via an Apple device: 

If signing up via an Apple device, only one free trial is available per Apple ID account.  Attempting to sign up again after a free trial will immediately start a full subscription, and you will be charged the full subscription amount.
